Guarantees and Warranties
There are a number of voluntary warranties and guarantees that apply to products you purchase through this Web Site. In particular this includes our full 30-day right-of-return guarantee.
You have the right for 30 days to determine whether it is satisfactory and whether you want to keep it. If you decide that it is not satisfactory, you may return your purchase to us. You will be offered a choice of replacement without charge, full credit towards the purchase of another product or a refund of your full purchase price.
Please note that all warranties exclude defects caused by damage or misuse after receipt or returned not in their original packaging and condition. It is your responsibility to return any goods & pay for all freight/delivery charges related to the return of the goods.
Our Full One Year Warranty
We warrant new mechanical devices and appliances for a period of one year from the date of original purchase or receipt as a gift. If any mechanical device or appliance you purchase through this Web Site should become defective during that one year period, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace or issue a refund for the defective product.
All of our items are physically checked before despatch and leave our warehouse in good condition. If you receive your goods and they are damaged, please contact us immediately upon receipt. We will arrange for your goods to be repaired or replaced. All return goods must be shipped back to us at your cost. We will not accept product shipped back to us as C.O.D. Personalised products are non-returnable, unless there is an error on our part. Returns will only be accepted once you have contacted our customer service department and obtained a Goods Return Authority (GRA) Form. No returned goods will be excepted unless they are together with a complete filled out GRA Form including copy of the original Invoice.
We sometimes experience greater demand for an item than expected or an unforeseen delay in the shipment of goods. In the event of a delay you will be advised at the time of order placement.
Payment may be made by credit card; we accept Visa, Bankcard or MasterCard. In this regard, you are responsible for providing a valid credit card number with available credit at the time of purchase. You represent and warrant that you have authority to use any such credit card.
if you order by e-mail, mail or phone & do not have, nor wish to use, a credit card, you can pay by Money order or Direct Deposit.
You are responsible for payment of all applicable state and federal taxes. You are responsible for payment of delivery costs. These additional charges will be included on your order invoice.
All Goods remain the property of Autotek Pty Ltd until paid for in full.
Your order will be processed upon receipt. The products you purchase on the Auto-tek On Line Shop web site will be dispatched to your nominated address by either Australia Post providing safe, reliable and efficient service, delivering to most areas across Australia. You can also choose to pick up the goods yourself from our Melbourne warehouse.
Your order will be shipped from either our Melbourne Warehouse. Your order will only be dispatched once your payment has been received and cleared.
For Australian orders that are under 5 kg (weight or Cubic Size) a flat freight fee of $15.00 is charged. If your order is more than 5kg (weight or Cubic Size) one of our customer service staff will contact you & provide you with a new quote for delivery.
Please note that all delivery times are estimated from when your order leaves the warehouse. We usually process orders within 72 business hours. In the rare instance that it takes longer than 72 business hours to process your order, one of our customer service staff will email you with a revised ETA.
Orders are in most cases delivered between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. In the event that there is no one to take delivery, the driver may, in the interest of security leave a card asking you to contact the driver's depot.
To arrange for delivery to unattended addresses & To ensure safe delivery when you are not available to receive your goods, you may have your order delivered to another address nominated as an alternative "ship to" address ask that you provide "special delivery instructions" when placing your order.
If your delivery address is more than 5km outside a town, in a remote area or on an Island, we ask that you nominate a "ship to" address in an area that offers feasible and reliable freight or port services. We will arrange delivery to this address so you can make pick up or forwarding arrangements that best suit you.
Our delivery service operates reliably and consistently throughout the year. Some public holidays do however require changes to schedules from time to time. You will be advised of any change in schedule well in advance.
We reserve the right to alter any of our ongoing arrangements, in order to provide a better service for all customers. Consistent with our service philosophy, enhancements may be introduced to broaden our service offering.
